...and I'm running!
Thats right. Yesterday marked the 6 week mark of my stress fracture recovery! In celebration, I ran 4 miles yesterday and added my Nike+ Mini back to my blog. Now, I do realize 4 miles is probably a little much for me to run all at once, and I am going to remedy that, but it felt so good. I have promised myself that no matter how great I feel, I'm going to increase slowly. The last thing I want to do is re-injure myself. So, for the rest of this week, I won't be running more than 3 miles at a time. I'm going to keep going to the Spin class, as I've really come to enjoy that. And, since I ran yesterday, I'm going to Power today. I'll run on Thursday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday. Since I'll be on vacation all next week, I probably won't be running. The cabin we are staying in is at the top of a huge hill, and huge hill running is definitely not an option in my recovery at this point. I will definitely be walking it. We will be biking through Cades Cove this year. I can't wait!
