Quick update

I'm gonna make this quick, because I leave work in 15 minutes.

Quick update to the last couple of days:
After laying on the couch all the rest of the day on Monday and most of Tuesday, I had a last minute follow-up appointment with my OB yesterday. She poked around my abdomen and checked me internally, and she doesn't think its appendicitis either. Ok, that's great and all, but why am I in so much pain?

Because I threw up yesterday (I still insist that I threw up from the pain), she thinks I had a touch of a virus. Well, no virus I've ever had has had me doubled over in pain. I threw a theory out there that perhaps cyst that they observed on my right ovary had burst, because I know those can be excruciatingly painful. She didn't think that's what it was, but it isn't impossible either. She said that the cyst was small and would be surprised if that is the culprit.

So I guess I sit on a diagnosis of a virus.

Harrumph.

While that is better than surgery, or worse, I'm still not totally happy with it. I still don't feel great today, but considerably better than Monday. She is sending me to get a high risk ultrasound, just to check everything out and make doubly sure. Perhaps this place will do print outs of the little one...
