Boot Camp wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Although I'm sure its going to get much tougher. The trainers are all really nice (so far), and encouraging. I was psyching myself out thinking about it, and the idea of Boot Camp was very intimidating to me. I had it in my mind that it would be like The Biggest Loser (I think I've said all that before, oh well) and they would be yelling at you and pushing you until you are about to keel over. In all honesty, I need that. I need someone to push me and yell and give me motivation.
The biggest worry going into this was that I have one hour to get a shower and get ready for work after the class. I tossed and turned last night, I felt like a little kid that couldn't sleep out of excitement for the first day of school. I think I slept for a total of 4 hours last night. I finally get a good stretch of sleep and a huge clap of thunder woke me up. Oye. I am just going to have to get up and move around a lot today at work. Plus, it will help keep me from getting too stiff and sore.
As far as getting ready for work after class goes, it actually was lot better than I expected. The showers there have no water pressure to speak of, so that makes it hard for getting the soap out of my thick hair. I got showered, dressed, make-up on, and even got to blow dry my hair and still got to work a few minutes early.
I had thought about going to a step class tonight, but I'll have to see how tired I am at 5:30. At this point, I don't know how I'm going to make it. Gotta get to bed early tonight.
I'm so tired.
