Baby's now the size of a raspberry!
Baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs, and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.
How Far along: 8 weeks!
Total weight gain: I think I was up a pound on Friday. I had pizza Friday night and Saturday night (you know, left overs), so I'm not weighing myself until I can go run.
Maternity clothes: Fat pants are getting snug by the end of the day. I tried wearing my BeBand one day and I think it is more trouble than it is worth. I also wore a pair of maternity jeans today. While they were the most comfortable things I have EVER worn (hello, elastic waist band), they kept falling down and taking my undies with them.
Sleep: A lot. I can't seem to stay awake when I sit down. Narcolepsy, anyone?
Best Moment this week: Telling my boss. He was so excited for us. His wife just had their second girl a week ago, and he was so happy for us that we would be experiencing this blessing.
Movement: 100 yard dash to the rest room to pee.
Gender: Boy or girl - no clue really.
Labor signs: No, thank you.
Belly button: In.
Cravings: Salty things.
What I miss: Surprisingly, wine. We were in the grocery store today and walked by the wine and I looked at my favorite and started missing it. Its surprising because I'm not a big wine drinker.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new.
Milestones: I had to buy a new bra. This is huge because I have been wearing the same cup size since 11th grade (11 years if you were counting).
Weekly wisdom: You can't make everyone happy, especially those that don't want to be happy.
What I am looking forward to this week: First ultrasound tomorrow morning! Stay tuned for pictures (if I can get it on the computer.)
I can't believe its been 2 months already! I still don't feel pregnant, no morning sickness, but I'm not complaining about that. Although I have noticed I get queasy if I let myself get hungry and don't eat soon enough.
I'm keeping this one short. Its quarter till 12, and I'm tired. I did remember to take a picture this morning, so I will just have to upload that tomorrow.
